|||KwaZulu-Natal - Five people were arrested in Port Shepstone after they were found in possession of dagga, heroin and Mandrax, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Wednesday.
Captain Thulani Zwane said a man, 20, was arrested at a house in Bhoboyi after he was found in possession of 32 straws of heroin.
“A man, 27, was arrested at the taxi rank with 12 Mandrax tablets hidden in his groin,” said Zwane.
Both men would appear in the Port Shepstone Magistrate's Court on Wednesday for dealing in drugs, he added.
“Three others were arrested in Murchison and the Bhoboyi area for possession of 48 parcels and loose dagga,” said Zwane.
“The total street value of the drugs is R1729.40.”
He said the men faced charges of dealing in drugs and were expected to appear in court soon. - Sapa
