|||Durban - A woman accused of stealing cash and jewellery from casino patrons while performing good luck rituals intends pleading guilty, the Durban Regional Court heard on Tuesday.
Prosecutor Wendy O'Brien told the court Nancy Shanelle Naidoo would plead guilty on June 11.
Naidoo allegedly approached gamblers and told them she could introduce them to a psychic who would improve their chances of winning.
In one case, a casino patron was robbed of cash and jewellery valued at over R1 million. Naidoo also allegedly drugged elderly people and robbed them. - Sapa
