Durban police have arrested seven men in connection with a fatal assault on two suspected criminals.
|||Durban - Seven men have been arrested after allegedly assaulting and stoning to death two suspected criminals in Isipingo, south of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Tuesday.
Malukazi residents attacked and killed the two men on Saturday, said Captain Thulani Zwane.
“They were assaulted with sjamboks and stoned to death,” he said.
The seven, aged between 21 and 38, were arrested on Monday, and were expected to appear in the Durban Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, on two murder charges. - Sapa
